are the necessary qualifications are
required to study at LCBF?
It variable from country to
country and depends on what course
you wish to enter. Please consult
our admissions team with your
educational documents and
qualifications.
2. Do I need to pay all my fees
upfront?
The amount that needs to be paid
upfront will be stated on your
conditional offer. If you have any
other questions please enquire with
the admissions team.
3. How many hours per work can I
work while in the UK?
You can work up to 20 hours a week
while studying but can work up to 40
hours per week during your breaks.
4. Is LCBF approved by the Home
Office?
Yes we are! However, you will find
us on the list under LCBF trading as
First Contact Training
5. Do
you provide airport pick-up service?
Yes, if you need to be picked up
we can accommodate you if you fill
out the Airport Pickup form found
under Downloads.
6. Can I
get a refund if my visa is refused?
Yes, but we do require the
original documents to be sent to us
to for verification. The refund
process can also take up to 8 weeks.
7. How
easy is it to get a job in London?
It depends. The better your
English is, the most probably it is
that you will find a job quickly!
8. What
is the cost of living in London?
Being based in East London as
opposed to Central London allows our
students to enjoy a relatively low
cost of living. Shared accommodation
generally costs around £400 per
month plus bills. You can look at
common food shopping sites such as www.tesco.co.uk to get an idea of
the cost of food. We can provide
single accommodation (without bills)
for £500 per month.
9. How
will I get around?
London has one of the best
transport systems in the world. You
can take a direct underground train
into Central London from Barking
Station, and this will usually take
you around 20 minutes.
10. Do I
get a student card?
Yes you do. This will give you 30%
off the cost of travel throughout
London.
11. Do
you provide scholarships?
No, but we do have certain schemes
that allow you to save on your next
years tuition fees. We have a
Student Referral Scheme which you
can download from our Downloads
section that will allow the student
that provides the referral to save
£300 on their next years tution..for
each student you recommend, that’s
another £300 for you!
